Rafa Silva, the iconic midfielder who captained Portugal to Euro 2016 and the Champions League title in 2018, has passed away at the age of 44.

Silva was born on November 19, 1975, in Lisbon, Portugal, and began his career with FC Porto. He made his debut for Portugal in 2000 and quickly became one of the country's most important players.

In 2004, he joined Manchester United, where he spent six seasons before moving to Real Madrid in 2010. During his time at Real Madrid,Saudi Pro League Highlights Silva won two La Liga titles and one UEFA Champions League trophy.
